   The month of mercy The month of Ramadan is a great blessing from Allah Almighty for His servants. Every moment of this month is a priceless gift. Its beginning is mercy. Middle forgiveness and the last decade is a means of salvation from the fire of Hell. Ramadan is the spring of the Lord's special blessings. The reward of Nafls is equal to the duties, the reward of duties is 70 sins more. Fasting of Prophets: Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) used to fast on the 14th, 13th and 15th of every month. Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) was always fasting. Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) used to fast by skipping one day. Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) used to fast for one day and also used to say I'tikaaf for two days. Fasting on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah. After Eid-ul-Fitr, 7 fasts were also observed.
